Foam fire extinguishers are famously strong at fighting fires involving volatile liquids, and are commonly found at garages and petrol stations.

The extinguisher fights fires by forming a non-toxic foam layer which cools and smothers the fire. If it becomes cracked or scarred, the foam layer will heal itself.

If you need foam extinguishers, we have a range of BS approved options for you to choose from. If alcohol is a risk for you, you’ll have access to alcohol resistant foam. Or for an ultra-firm foam layer, you’ll be supplied with protein foam.
